Sweet Monday

Thank you Cakes by Carolyn for making me such a beautiful wedding cake. I am still in awe that it made it into this month’s issue of Washington Brides.

The text reads;

" This bride wanted the cake to match her gown, but she didn't want anything too girly" says Carolyn Buschmeier of Cakes by Carolyn, in Centreville, Va. "Rather, she requested something stylish and unique'. She brought in magazine photos of cakes she liked, which helped guide me in the right direction. I love the pop art feel of the end result. The gumpaste flowers are traditional, but their unique shape and the patterned tiers give the design a contemporary edge."
