So Fun

J.Crew is having a great sale going on right now, 20% off sale items and free shipping over $150, I just ordered a ton of great stuff, of course all on sale. But one thing I did spot that's still full price is this fabulous yellow purse, now that's what I call making a statement.

Ah memories

To keep me busy I've been substitute teaching and last week I taught high school for the first time.  It's been more than 10 years since I was in high school but one thing that hasn't changed are the kids binders, they are still covering them with fun collages.  This was something I spent hours as a teen doing, I would cut out my favorite celebrities, cool photos and fun fashion and then decoupage them to the binder.  So when I stumbled onto this site tonight I couldn't resist making my own collage.  This time with no messy glue or time spent flipping through magazine.
Have fun making your own!

Intrigue

I've tried to not pay much attention this year to the inauguration, but it's becoming almost impossible.  Today I drove by the White House and they were setting up the bleachers, the radio is non stop talking about where you can get tickets and how much to rent your house out for.  Up until visiting this site I honestly didn't care. The site shows 40 dress designs for Michelle and her daughters.  It's quite interesting and if I were her I don't know which one I would pick. Here are a few of my favorites.

Winter is coming

Loving this coat from JCrew.  Ashley and I saw it yesterday in the window and I said I would never be brave enough to wear pink but I still love it.

I'm thinking green may be more my style, Ashley told me about this cute one and was raving how thick it was for the price, I just might have to go try it on.

Yellow is the color for Fall

I’m "fall"ing in love with the color yellow. Every time I turn around there it is, bright, bold and in my face. Today I saw this amazing candy table from Amy Atlas on HWTM. Check out the rest of her stuff, truly amazing, I NEED an excuse to throw a party…. Halloween maybe?

While shopping at the new J.Crew in Reston on Monday night I saw this awesome jacket. Love the purse too, but I didnt' see it at the store.

A few photos in my favorites folder on decor pad. There's that yellow again.

Calling all Short People

If you are vertically challenged like myself than you will love the Japanese Soho store, UniQlo. I have visited this store a few times on my previous trips to NY but I just found out on Sunday while shopping with my friend Ranchel a great secret, they hem all pants for FREE, full price or on sale. And they guarantee it will be done within 24 hours, how amazing is that!! Today I am sporting a new pair that I bought on Sunday that they hemmed for me in less than 2 hours! Also, just because it’s in Soho doesn’t mean its ubber expensive, they have great affordable prices and it’s a great place to shop for the basics, like as seen in the photo, t-shirts and sweaters in every color.

Go to the pool, it's HOT

Forget those boring suits I posted last week, these one pieces from Anthropologie are way cooler, thanks Kenzie Kate for posting about them. I think I love the pink one the most!
